It was created from a desire to serve Dubbo and the Western region with a high standard of workmanship and to be the trusted tradies who honour people by actually turn up on time. Since then we have grown and developed into an innovative local company that has a team of electricians who are not only highly skilled, but also care about your property and your experience with us.

Since adding solar to our portfolio in 2009, JME Electrical & Solar has built on this strength and have installed over 100,000 panels in the Dubbo region. JME offers our customers a wide variety of individually tailored solar solutions for homes, businesses, agribusiness, irrigators, remote area power and mobile applications.

Mick’s family has been in Dubbo since relocating following the sale of their family farm near Tooraweenah in 1994. His interest in the electrical trade came from his relationship with his great uncle who was a successful electrical contractor in Sydney for over 40 years. Since commencing his apprenticeship, Mick took part in the highly competitive Worldskills competition. He won both the local and state contests and went on the take out 2^nd place in the national competition for the industrial control category. Working for various companies throughout his training allowed Mick to develop a wide variety of skills in residential, commercial and industrial installations and repairs, as well as generator and welding equipment repairs and maintenance.

Jill’s family moved in to Dubbo from Narromine in 1999. After completing school in Dubbo, Jill has devoted much of her time and talent to developing a variety of proven business operation and management skills and has a deep understanding of customer relations and marketing.

Since marrying in 2003 they have combined their various skills to form an exceptional team. They’ve raised 5 children and love helping out with local groups like junior sporting clubs. They love to see the local community thrive and grow in strength.
